The “new” Valdres bunad with patterns inherited from Sundheim
The “new” Valdresbunad went into production in 1948. The design is inherited from Vestre Slidre, while the embroidery is from a hat found on a Sundheim farm, made by our ancestor Eli Sundheim Hagen b.1821.
